Therapy and healing mean finding, together, paths towards greater well-being, inner strength and more harmonious relationships

Philosophy
My approach is holistic, resource-oriented and individually tailored to your needs or those of your child. Particular attention is given to stress and coping processes across the different areas of life and to their effects on development and relationships. Treatment is open to families from all cultural backgrounds and is offered in several languages (German, French, English; on request also Italian), either at the practice in Büren an der Aare or online. In accompanying individuals and families through difficult phases of life, I provide a protected setting for your own development and that of your family.
Therapy
Therapy and healing mean developing pathways towards greater well-being, inner strength and more harmonious relationships. Life is rich in opportunities, but equally in challenges that can bring us to the limits of our resources. We are repeatedly confronted with problems, with our own vulnerabilities, with conflict and with unforeseen events. Therapy provides support in recognising these, in working through them and in learning to manage them independently.
Children and family
Across cultures, the family is the most significant context for development, relationships and quality of life. Children are its most precious members and require particular attention and care. The well-being and development of children and adolescents, and of the families around them, is therefore a priority – and decisive for the future.
My experience
Many years of practice as a psychotherapist, supervisor, lecturer and researcher in different countries and cultures have allowed me to develop my clinical expertise continuously. The focus throughout is on a comprehensive understanding of the presenting difficulties and, equally, of the resources available to support development and to strengthen children and adolescents, parents and family relationships.
