Research focus

My research examines the associations between family stress processes and psychological disorders. The focus lies on how strain is processed and on its effects on the well-being of children and adolescents, of parents and of family relationships.

A second line of work concerns psychotherapy outcome research and the quality assurance of psychotherapeutic treatment.

This international research activity has given rise to a substantial body of publications and research projects.
